Accountability
Parents hold children accountable to behave when they are younger. Bosses hold employees accountable to perform in the workplace. Coaches hold athletes accountable to practice. Blogs hold individuals accountable to write! Most of my daily thoughts, goals, blessings and questions are expressed through conversation with friends. While conversation is fulfilling, I feel that transferring thoughts into words is a great way to grow, to learn, and to share with others.
This blog is primarily triathlon based, but from my writings you will see that triathlon, faith, family, work, friends, finances, and fun all work together allowing me to serve others while maintaining an inner peace. Thank you for holding me accountable to write by taking the time to read my blog!

My Story
I have always been into health and fitness. I ran varsity track cross-country competitively in high school and grew a great respect and love for the sport. After 4 years of competitive running, I was a bit burnt out and decided to try something new in college, so I did Crew. I loved crew, but realized that college was a very short window of time to prepare myself for the "real world" and that crew was monopolizing too much of that time. I quit crew after freshmen year, started teaching group fitness classes, and used my extra time to get involved in Student Government, community service, the business school, coordinating campus activities, etc. The University of Dayton gave me so many opportunities to develop leadership skills and a good sense of self. The professors are truly invested in their student's education and well-being.
